Gil Ntǟ Ner (/gil/ /ntaː/ [stubborn] [store; shop]) is a subtropical Town located in the Evrezdre̜t Moot of the Viceroyalty of Rosid.

The name Gil Ntǟ Ner is derived from the Wood Elvish language, as Gil Ntǟ Ner was founded by Aci Phroniavno, who was culturaly Wood Elven.

Climate

Gil Ntǟ Ner has a yearly average temperature of 15°C (59°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a pleasant 25°C (77°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 6°C (42°F). Gil Ntǟ Ner receives an average of 151 cm/y (59 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of snow during the pleasantly short winter months. Gil Ntǟ Ner covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 5418 m (17775 ft) above sea level.

Overview

Gil Ntǟ Ner was founded durring the early 11th century, by Aci Phroniavno. The establishment of Gil Ntǟ Ner was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Gil Ntǟ Ner's construction back out of the project. Aci Phroniavno pushed on reguardles, and Gil Ntǟ Ner was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Gil Ntǟ Ner was built using the conventions of Wood Elven durring the early 11th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Gil Ntǟ Ner is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature plaster covered brickwork used to form structures with an emphasis on symmetry, proportion, geometry and the regularity of parts. Orderly arrangements of columns, pilasters and lintels, as well as the use of semicircular arches, hemispherical domes, niches and aediculae can be found everywhere such that only size of building and yard can be used to measure the general prosparity of a given building's owners due to a general wealthy feeling the style gives off.

Cultural Notes

Gil Ntǟ Ner's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is based upon new and innovative technologies of construction and the idea that form should follow function. It was an embrace of minimalism and a rejection of ornament. The style became characterized by an emphasis on volume, asymmetrical compositions, and minimal ornamentation..

The Retch Hound near Gil Ntǟ Ner are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Gil Ntǟ Ner's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in summer and involves reenactments to channel Illusion energies of tier 3 via oratory performances.

Gil Ntǟ Ner is cursed with recurrent spells of some troublesome disease. The affliction isn’t so fatal as to make living there impossible, but it adds suffering and expense to local lives. History

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century Gil Ntǟ Ner was struck by a devistating earthquake. The quake brought ruin to Gil Ntǟ Ner, which lost 180 people, 195 livestock, and 68 buildings in the earthquake. The day of the quake is remembered by many as Hate's Day.

History
